Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their North London derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur when they welcome champions Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Mikel Arteta 's side saw their European hopes take a significant blow as their five-match unbeaten streak came to an end at the home of their fiercest rivals, squandering a 1-0 lead to lose at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

The Gunners now host a Liverpool side that need victories in all of their remaining games to break the all-time points record for the English top flight, having already wrapped up the title in record time.

Pablo Mari was forced off in the first half of Arsenal's first game back after lockdown and will not return to training until September at the earliest having picked up a "significant" ankle injury.

Calum Chambers

Calum Chambers ruptured his ACL in Arsenal's final game of 2019 and will miss the remainder of this season, as well as being touch and go to return in time for the start of 2020-21.
