Manchester United lining up 'firm offer' for Valencia youngster Ferran Torres as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer considers Jadon Sancho alternatives
Manchester United are lining up a 'firm offer' for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to reports.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claim the 20-year-old's agent has 'been in contact' with the Old Trafford hierarchy and could be signed as an alternative to Jadon Sancho.
Torres' relationship with the Valencia hierarchy has deteriorated in recent months following a falling out with the the club's chairman, Peter Lim, who is considering offers for the playmaker.
The youngster, who can be deployed out wide or in the No.10 role, has been mooted as the future of Spanish football for his promising displays over the last two seasons.
Man City and Liverpool have also been considering a summer swoop for the Valencia ace, who has just one year left on his deal at the Mestalla.
However, City have also reportedly joined Man United in the race for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
The Citizens are on the hunt for a replacement Bayern Munich-bound Leroy Sane and according to The Telegraph, Pep Guardiola is an admirer of the playmaker.
Grealish has been a standout performer for the Villans on their return to the Premier League, scoring seven goals and adding six assists in 30 appearances this term.
