Luis Suarez and Jordan Henderson ended up having a really good relationship at Liverpool, but they got off to a rocky start.
The Englishman has told a story of the frustration he felt in training as he worked alongside the Uruguayan strike.
"At that time I was a young player and there were one or two things that Luis done in training that I didn't like, that made me feel like I wasn't good enough," he said of their time at Liverpool during an interview with Jamie Carragher's podcast.
"The arms were up and it was like 'what's he doing?', as if I shouldn't be there.
"That really hurt me and that really frustrated me.
"He done it one, two and then three times and then I exploded and I was ready to kill him."
In the end, though, they settled any differences.
"From that point, I actually had a really good relationship with Luis after that," Henderson said.
"I remember that the game after that I set him up away at Stoke for a goal.
"He'd said to Lucas before the game that I was going to set him up because of what had happened during the week.
"From that point, Luis was brilliant with me.
"I was really close to him towards the end.
"I'm still in contact now with him."
